Your topwater lure barely moves before a giant Northern Pike explodes out of the weeds and completely inhales it. Your reel starts screaming, your buddies start yelling, and your rod bends into a perfect, heavy U-shape. After a chaotic fight, Kevin scoops the fat, angry Pike into the net, snaps a quick photo of you holding your prize, and gently releases it so it can grow even bigger.

By noon, your arms are sore from reeling in fish, and you’ve worked up a serious appetite so your guide steers the boat toward a small, uninhabited pine island.

- Go Deep: If you spent the morning pulling Pike out of the weeds, head out to the deep to troll for giant, hard-fighting Lake Trout.
- Test Your Skills: Grab a fly rod and head toward the fast-flowing rapids to target beautifully colored Arctic Grayling.
- Spot the Locals: Keep your eyes peeled along the shoreline. Just last July, one of our boats was idling near a shallow point when a massive black bear wandered out of the timber to forage along the rocks. The guys sat there in silence, watching it from thirty yards away while bald eagles circled overhead.
5:00 PM – Cold Beers and Big Tales
By late afternoon, you head back to the lodge docks. Our staff will take care of your gear, which means you can walk straight up to the main lodge for happy hour.
This is where the community of the lodge really comes alive. Everyone gathers around the bar, grabs a cold drink, and swaps stories about the day. This is also where the “one that got away” magically grows by about three pounds with every round of drinks ordered. You’ll find yourself laughing with guys from all over the world, united by the sheer joy of a good day on the water.
7:00 PM – Feast, Relax, Repeat
